Background and Experience

Michael B. Rosen holds the degrees of Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Architect certified by the National Council of Registration Boards, and he is also a registered Interior Designer in the State of Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Society of Architectural Historians.

After working for the architecture firms of HIRSCHFELD, PAWLAN, AND REINHEIMER; and SKIDMORE, OWINGS, AND MERRILL, Mr. Rosen joined the firm of ROSEN AND HOROWITZ, which continues as MICHAEL B. ROSEN, Architect. Examples of his work have appeared in Contract Design, Glamour Magazine, Home Magazine, House Beautiful, Inland Architect, Metropolitan Review, The Chicago Sun-Times, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, Chicagoland Gardening, and in the book, Residential Design Studio by Robert Philip Gordon.

Patrick M. Rosen is a Licensed Architect in the State of Illinois, and he is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He studied Product and Furniture Design at PARSONS SCHOOL OF DESIGN in New York City where he earned the degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts. He continued his training at ILLINOIS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY where he earned the degree of Master of Architecture.

Prior to joining ROSEN ARCHITECTURE, Patrick worked in the Chicago office of HOLABIRD AND ROOT and in the New York and Boston Offices of CARLTON FINNERAL MAHONEY ARCHITECTS. His work has appeared in Design Diffusion News, 1999; and Interiors magazine, 1999.
